Maruti Suzuki is all set to introduce the new models in the Indian market by mid-2022. After the successful launch of the 2022 Baleno and Dzire CNG, the company is likely to launch the Maruti XL6 facelift in the mid-April 2022.
Spotted testing on the Indian roads multiple times, the new XL6 spy shots suggest that the MPV will share the grille design with the new Baleno.
The 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 will see big changes in terms of interior. In addition, it will be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine and its four-speed automatic gearbox will be replaced by a six-speed transmission unit.
Introduced in 2019 in the Indian market, the XL6 is a six-seater premium version of the Maruti Ertiga. Speaking of the XL6 Facelift exterior, the MPV will likely get new LED headlamps and revised front and rear bumpers.
On the inside, the 2022 Maruti XL6 is expected to come equipped with new seat upholstery, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment display with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, automatic AC, redesigned aircon controls and wireless phone charging. Moreover, it might also receive six airbags and a 360-degree camera for safety purposes.
According to the reports, the XL6 Facelift might also get a seven-seater version as optional. When launched, the XL6 Facelift will compete with the Kia Carens and Mahindra Marazzo in the Indian market.
Apart from the 2022 Maruti Suzuki XL6 launch, the company will introduce the Vitara Brezza facelift, Baleno CNG, Ignis facelift and S-Presso facelift. In addition, Maruti Suzuki is also working with Toyota to launch the Creta-rival SUV in India.
