Batt:RE to launch high-speed Stor:ie electric scooter this month

Batt:RE is all set to launch its new Stor:ie high-speed electric scooter in the Indian market in May 2022. The Jaipur-based electric scooter manufacturer states that the Stor:ie is a strategic addition to the expanding Batt:RE’s electric vehicle portfolio. Featuring a metal panel body, the Stor:ie e-scooter offers an ample floorboard. The company claims that the electric scooter gets new connected features such as Connected Drive.
Batt:RE has not revealed the price, images and specifications details yet. Though, the electric scooter manufacturer will officially launch the scooter this year.
Currently, the electric vehicle manufacturer lineup includes four electric scooters and e-cycles. The e-cycles are available in four variants that include Newtron, Montra, Huge and Kross. Priced at Rs 29,900 (ex-showroom), the e-cycles get power from a 36v 250 watts motor. One can charge the Lithium-ion battery with a 3 Amps fast charger. The e-cycles use dual disc brakes, Nylon tyres, and are equipped with a 5-level pedal assist.
Speaking of the Batt:RE’ electric scooter range, it consists of LO:EV, gps:ie, IOT and ONE. The Batt:RE LO:EV scooter costs around Rs 68,900 (ex-showroom) and gets a host of features such as a detachable LFP battery, USB charging, dual disc brakes, remote key and anti-theft alarm and more.
Priced at Rs 80,900 (ex-showroom), the top variant of IOT e-scooter comes equipped with a range of features like navigation assist and call alerts on speedometer, voice-enabled app, service alerts and anti-theft alarm. Powered by a 48V 24Ah battery, the Batt:RE gps:ie price starts at Rs 73,900 (ex-showroom).
Batt:RE has a network of 380 plus dealerships in 19 states and 300 cities. The EV start-up registered a year-on-year growth of 372 per cent in 2022, as per company claims.
