This is especially so given that Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton Luke Newton will soon be getting married despite being an underdog couple and that Lady Whistledown’s true identity is none other than Penelope’s sister, Eloise Bridgerton Claudia Jesse. At a ball, Eloise cheers the two on for their engagement, celebrating it as ‘really knowing each other.
The trailer raises the question: Will Penelope continue to maintain her dual life as Lady Whistledown? Or will Colin find out her secret, and decide to put an end to a hasty marriage between them?
In Part 1 of the season, Colin was involved in helping Penelope find a husband; she almost landed in the arms of Lord Debling Sam Phillips.
Nevertheless, after the two friends come close to having sex in the final scene of the first part, Colin offers to marry Penelope.
It is unclear whether or not Eloise, who learned that Penelope was Lady Whistledown at the end of season 2 of the show, will expose the truth to Colin and Ton.
Season 3 of “Bridgerton” was divided into two parts and the first four episodes were launched on May, 16th. The first half became the most-watched in the show’s history, with over 41 million views in the first four days of availability.
The second part of the season, with four episodes, is expected to be released on June 13.

1. Penelope’s Secret Revealed: Berkeley gets jealous when he learns that Penelope is actually Lady Whistledown and this sets apart their relationship. It is a choice for Penelope between choosing to tell Colin the truth about her identity and thus losing him or whether to continue living two different lives as the identifiable wife, Dolly, and the famous gossip writer.
2. Colin’s Growing Feelings: In the same way, although Penelope rejected him at the start, Colin starts to develop feelings for her. He decides to teach Penelope the art of building confidence so she can find a husband, but this results in him worrying about whether he has any romantic interest in her.
3. Eloise’s Role: Eloise, Penelope’s former best friend, holds the secret about Penelope, and there is no doubt that her character will be liberally involved in the subsequent events.
