To support the EV charging infrastructure in India, goEgoNetwork (an EV charging solutions provider) has launched a Kerbside charging station, Hornbill. The charging station is installed in the ground eliminating the need for a wall or pole for support. It can be installed in public places like malls and parking bays and high-end residential society premises. Apart from Hornbill, Eagle, Albatross and Falcon charging stations will be installed soon by the service provider.
The company has installed the EV charging station with a 10-inch TFT LCD display and visual indication through LED notifying charging session status like ready, preparing, charging or fault detection. It comes with a host of safety features against over-voltage, under-voltage, short circuit, current surge, overheating and residual current.
The Hornbill charging station has two charging guns with 5-meter long cables on each side that can deliver a maximum power output of 7.4 kW even when two cars are connected at the same time.
Commenting on the launch, Sayantan Chakraborti, Co-founder of goEgoNetwork said, “goEgo is launching multiple products in the next few months to cater to every customer in the home and public EV charging space.
