Honda Cars India is all set to launch its e:HEV Hybrid in the Indian market tomorrow. A teaser video has already been released on the official YouTube channel hinting at the range-topping ZX variant of the Honda City e:HEV. Ahead of its launch, here is all you need to know about the City e:HEV.
In terms of exterior, the Honda City e:HEV will be similar to the combustion-powered City. The top-spec ZX variant will get LED headlamps and fog lamps, e:HEV hybrid badges, new lip spoiler over the tail-lamp and more. The car sits on 16-inch alloy wheels and comes equipped with a lane watch camera.
On the inside, the Honda City e:HEV will follow a dual-tone scheme. The features list will include a touchscreen information display, a tweaked instrument cluster, multiple airbags, electronic parking brake (including an auto-hold function) and more.
Mechanically, the Indian-spec City e:HEV will make use of two electric motors paired with a 98 hp 1.5-litre Atkinson cycle four-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The engine will likely be paired with an eCVT automatic gearbox. The power output and torque figures of the City e:HEV will be revealed by Honda tomorrow.
