According to a report on boxofficeindia.com, the fourth week total so far stands at an estimated Rs 17 crore nett. Going by the film’s performance at the box office thus far, it is expected to wrap up its fourth week with an estimated Rs 23 crore nett. If it can cross the 20 crore mark, the film will have the third-highest fourth-week collection, after ‘Bahubali: The Conclusion’ and ‘Uri -The Surgical Strike’.
‘KGF: Chapter 2’ claimed the highest opening day, opening weekend and opening week for any film in the Hindi belt and became the fastest film to reach the Rs 250 crore benchmark.
‘Baahubali 2’ starring Prabhas minted Rs 510.99 crore in Hindi while ‘Dangal’ collected Rs 387.38 crore in its lifetime at the box office.
Other Hindi films that crossed the over Rs 300 crore mark include ‘Bajrangi Bahijaan’, ‘PK’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Sanju’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’ and then there is ‘Baahubali 2’ and ‘KGF’.
The film is currently facing stiff competition from the latest Hollywood superhero release ‘Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness‘. The Marvel film that is quite popular in the South and Hindi belts, has been raking in the moolah over its first weekend at the Indian box office.
