Laure McClure – AI and Deepfake have been the subject of discussion from their beginning. The more benefits they have, the more disadvantages they have. People are seeing a threat to their privacy, and immoral activities are getting promoted.

In fact, Last month, a female MP Laura McClure in New Zealand’s Parliament had shown an AI generated nude photo during a debate on 14 May, to tell how easy it is to make fake photos and how much damage can they cause.
ACT party member McClure, using a website found through a normal Google search, prepared his own deep -sack photo at home in a few minutes. He said in Parliament that this is my nude photo, but it is not real and it took me less than five minutes to make my own deepfake photo.
In a video on social media, he said that “I attracted the attention of all other members of Parliament to how easy it is to do. How wrong and damage is it, especially how wrong it is for our young kiwi and our young women.”
He also said that “the problem is not in technology, but is how it is being misused to misbehave with people. Our laws will also have to be strict for it.”
There was a ruckus on Deepfake in India
In India, in 2023, the deepfake video of actress Rashmika Mandana also went viral on social media, about which a debate on Deepfake Technology.
The video was put on Rashmika’s face on the place of another woman’s face. Rashmika herself expressed brief about this and demanded to be resolved.
The megastar Amitabh Bachchan, citing this video, demanded legal action in the matter.
