Mercedes-AMG and will.i.am collaborate to bring a one-off sports car

Mercedes-AMG has collaborated with American rapper, singer, songwriter, and philanthropist William Adams aka will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas fame to create a one-off concept car named ‘WILL.I.AMG.’ will.i.am teamed up again with West Coast Customs to execute his vision for “The Flip” philanthropic project.
“The Flip – Innovation for Purpose” project is to give more students from disadvantaged communities access to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) education in order to be equipped with the skills required for future-focused jobs and to invent new technologies.

Talking about the WILL.I.AMG car, it is based on the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door Coupe which has been extensively modified. The one-off masterpiece will be unveiled during the 2022 Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix in the company of prominent guests such as 7 time record F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton.
At the front, the car takes heavy inspiration from the Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV. The iconic round headlamps and the front grille have been carried over from the rugged SUV. Mercedes says that the The Flip project was also inspired by the company’s SLS Gullwing. will.i.am’s i.am/Angel Foundation aims to help build a STEAM-ready talent pool that will lift families and communities out of poverty.

Up front, the logo neatly integrates the three-point Mercedes emblem. Moreover, the car also gets suicide doors and monoblock wheels. Moreover, the WILL.I.AMG also features a unique bear-like face logo up front, created by will.i.am himself, and dubbed “BEAR WITNESS.” There will also be a limited-edition collection of Bear Witness apparel and accessories. collection that features limited-edition apparel and accessories. A portion of the proceeds will go to support the i.am/Angel Foundation.
