Renault has today launched the new Kiger MY22 at a starting price of Rs 5.84 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Renault Kiger MY22 is now available in a Metal Mustard with Mystery Black roof dual-tone colour option. The Renault KIGER MY22 bookings will start from March 31, 2022.
Renault Kiger MY22 is the third car from the manufacturer to be launched in India primarily, ahead of global launch. The Turbo range of the SUV features a new tailgate with chrome inserts, front Skid Plate and Turbo Door Decals. The SUV sits on 16-inch Diamond Cut alloy wheels with red wheel caps.
The Kiger SUV gets the latest tech features like Multi-Sense driving modes and PM2.5 Advanced Atmospheric Filter. In terms of interior, the Renault Kiger receives a new Red Fade dashboard accent and quilted Emboss seat upholstery with red stitches, wireless charging, cruise control and 60/40 split rear row seat with adjustable headrests.
Speaking of specifications, the new Kiger MY22 is offered in two engine choices – a 1.0-litre Energy Engine in MT and EASY-R AMT transmissions and a 1.0-litre Turbocharged petrol engine in MT and X-TRONIC CVT transmissions. The Renault Kiger RXT (O) variant will be powered by a 1.0-litre Turbo in MT & X-TRONIC CVT transmission. Renault claims that the Kiger MY22 mileage is 20.5 kmpl.
Recently, the Renault Kiger has been awarded with the 4-Star Safety Rating for Adult occupant safety by Global NCAP. For safety, the Renault Kiger gets four airbags – front and side along with seat belts with pretensioner and load-limiter (for driver occupant). Moreover, it hosts a range of safety features like ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a sensing door unlock, speed sensing door lock and ISOFIX anchorage for child seat.
Renault India began the exports of Kiger MY22 to Nepal, South Africa and Indonesia as it has already received an overwhelming response since its launch.
