During an exclusive interaction with ETimes, we asked Sunny Kaushal about his brother Vicky Kaushal’s marriage with Katrina Kaif, which the actor had previously refused to talk about to in our previous interactions. Blushing on the question, Sunny this time revealed to us about his equation with his bhabhi Katrina Kaif.
Sunny Kaushal said, “It’s pretty cool. She is such a nice and positive person. She is just a very positive energy to come (into the family). It’s a very nice feeling to have a new member in the family. She is very very grounded.” The actor further revealed he was a bit overwhelmed as he did not know her earlier. Sunny said, “But at the end of the day, everyone is a human being.”
Adding to Sunny Kaushal’s response, Nushrratt Bharuccha recollected one incident where she was a newbie in the industry and how the superstar asked her to sit next to her during a party which did stun her. Nushrratt said, “I just came to the industry and by that time, I used to get called for parties and events. There was one such party where I was being called and Katrina was there. She looked at me from far away and I saw her too and I was like OMG! Katrina is there. She just looked at me and called me, ‘Come here.’ She is very warm.”
We further asked Sunny Kaushal if he got to eat the halwa made by Katrina Kaif during her initial days of marriage. Responding to the same, Sunny Kaushal said, “I did. I was not in town for it but mom kept a little bit for me and it was very tasty.”
It looks like the bhabhi-devar equation is growing strong these days and we would definitely look forward to hearing such amazing stories about the bond between the Kaif and Kaushal’s family.
On the work front, Sunny Kaushal is seen playing a strong headed role in ‘Hurdang’ and will be seen working with Janhvi Kapoor soon.
