Select dealerships have already started accepting unofficial bookings for the upcoming Nexon EV MAX. The long range Nexon EV is likely to come equipped with five-dual spoke alloy rims and rear disc brakes for better braking performance. Moreover, it will get a Park mode that is not available in the current Nexon EV model.
At the heart, the Tata Nexon EV MAX will most likely be powered by a 40kWh lithium-ion battery pack that will offer a claimed range of 400 km per charge. The current Nexon EV makes use of a 30.2 kWh battery pack and provides a claimed range of 312 km on a single charge.
According to the Delhi RTO document, the new 40kWh battery mated to an electric motor will be producing 136 PS power.
In terms of interior features, the Tata Nexon EV will receive ventilated front seats, air purifier and auto-dimming IRVM. Safety suite will get additional features such as cruise control and electronic stability control.
The current Tata Nexon EV retails at Rs 14.54 lakh and goes up to Rs 17.15 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom). The upcoming Tata Nexon EV MAX price in India is expected to be costlier by Rs 2-3 lakh and will possess a starting price of Rs 17 lakh (ex-showroom).
