According to boxofficeindia.com, ‘The Kashmir Files‘ could face a capacity issue at multiplexes. Sunday is almost full with advance bookings and the spillover will go to Monday, which indicates a strong Monday for the film as well, the report further states.
The film crossed the 100 crore mark in 7 days and recorded the second highest collection on second Friday beating Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’.
‘The Kashmir Files’ is ruling the headlines with reactions pouring in from all corners. The film, which focuses on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley in the 1990s, has been mired in controversy with the BJP and the opposition parties having conflicting views on it. On one side, the film garnered support from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and many others, on the other side, it is also being criticised for showing half truth.
