During the detention of Brittany Griner in Russia on Monday night, WNBA Commissioner Kathy Engelbert addressed her arrest
Neneka Ogwumike told ABC's "Good Morning America" that the league and their Phoenix Mercury star be back home.
"It's tough. BG is us. We're BG. She could be us. We're really most concerned about her health and safety,
"We had to educate ourselves about what's going on, knowing as much as we could, we should have strategized when and how we spoke about it."
The Los Angeles Sparks star was asked about comments made by WNBA legend Lisa Leslie last month.
