Mitchell may want to keep Mitchell, but rivals may still want to get their hands on him.

The NBA's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Friday that the Jazz traded Rudy Gobert to the Timberwolves.

Begley of SNY wrote that "many teams still believe Mitchell is attainable for the right price."

Teams are considering calling Utah, according to some executives outside of Utah.

As of now, the Jazz have indicated their intent to keep Mitchell and reorient the roster around him.

The departure of Quin Snyder had already disappointed Mitchell and surprised him. Mitchell's return may not fuel him.

In spite of having purchased Minnesota's unprotected 2023, 2025, and 2027 first-round picks, Mitchell is not interested in draft picks.

It would not be useful to trade Gobert for Malik Beasley, Patrick Beverley, Jarandro Vanderbilt, Leandro Bolmaro.

Royce O'Neale was also shipped to Brooklyn in exchange for a first-round pick in 2023 on the same day as the Gobert trade.

Given how much draft capital the team has accumulated, imagine what Mitchell can command when they receive Gobert.
