Foster has not seen in a regular role on television since “Paper Moon” back in 1974.

Last guest-starred on "The Simpsons" as the normally-silent character Maggie in 2009.

She will be investigating the mysterious fading of six people from a research station in the series.

To solve the mystery, Detectives Liz Danvers and Evangeline needs to face the darkness.

They have to dig into the haunting truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.

She will also work as executive producer for the one upcoming series of the hit drama.
