According to a restraining order filed in Puerto Rico, Ricky Martin denied allegations of domestic abuse.

According to the singer's rep, the allegations that led to the protection order are fabricated.

Our client Ricky Martin will be fully vindicated when the true facts come out in this case.

He has been unable to be located in Dorado, Puerto Rico, where the restraining order was reportedly issued.

He hasn't been found yet, police spokesperson Axel Valencia told AP.

According to AP, Valencia said Martin was prohibited from contacting the plaintiff.

According to the outlet, such orders typically last for a month in a later hearing.

According to him, the petitioner went directly to the court rather than to the police, which would involve considering charges.

With a number of songs, including 1999's Livin' La Vida Loca, Martin has sold over 70 million records worldwide.
